Upon entering your room, you enter an intimate environment; a sense of calm, beauty, and the outdoors are there for your experience. Each room includes all of the modern amenities including a king or queen size bed, en-suite bathroom, bathrobes, refrigerators, beach bag & towels, and most specially, a private deck.
The Heron Room
The Heron room is Morning Glory Inn’s most ‘luxurious’ room; spacious, light, featuring some very charming additions to enhance your stay. This quiet and soothing room has a king sized bed, and a private deck to enjoy the sunshine. The en-suite bathroom has a two person jet tub and a roomy shower with 2 shower heads and a built-in seat.
Enjoy your large mahogany deck surrounded by gardens. The wooded view from the king sized bed, vaulted ceiling and exposed beams compliments the sophisticated decor. This is a lovely, romantic room that guests just don't want to leave!

The Rachel Suite
When you enter the Rachel Suite, you are struck by the sunshine pouring in. The bedroom has 2 walls of windows, providing beautiful views of the trees outside. This room has a sitting area with 2 chairs & coffee table, and an entry room, which holds the bureau, a comfy chair & a desk. A private patio overlooking the grounds make the experience here complete and guests leave the Rachel suite with a glow.
Embraced by nature, this room is a tribute to its namesake, writer and ecologist Rachel Carson. Surrounded by windows on 3 walls, this room is very bright and airy. The tone is set with lemon yellow walls and Maine cottage painted furniture. The dressing room adjoining the private bath and sleeping quarters, provides a quiet sitting area, and desk.

The Sandpiper Room
This cozy comforting room, it’s light coming in from its beautiful bay window and skylights, the Sandpiper room is adorned with antique marble topped furniture and nautical accents. The bath has a gracious shower and vanity.

The Sandpiper has been called sweet, cozy, and most definitely, delightful. There is a door leading to your garden patio, and a large shower, to get ALL the sand out! This room is closest to the dining room, which can be very nice. A somewhat nautical theme adorns this room. You'll leave feeling like you experienced a little piece of heaven.

The Chickadee Room
Very charming and intimate, the Chickadee Room has a beautiful balcony ‘in the trees’. (No better way to watch the night sky!) The Chickadee is our only room on the second floor. In the very old part of the building, the ceiling is lower than the other rooms. There is an additional side room with a small couch. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub and a shower. Watch your head if you’re over 6’2″ tall.

The Chickadee is a treasure. It's the only room on the second floor, and includes an adjacent sitting room with mini-fridge, snacks, iron & board and small couch. The Inn's comfortable, book-filled library is there for you to enjoy as well.
This room comes with all of the amenities as the other rooms, with the special new addition of a mahogany deck.
It's a great place to relax after a day exploring the area.

The Seabury Room
This spacious room, featuring the original fireplace from the 1770’s part of the Inn, and a stained glass window in the bathroom (that we rescued from a wonderful antique shop a bit up the road), is a transformation. In its earlier life, this room was the parlor of the old part of the Inn. The Seabury room speaks of elegance and comfort, with a sitting area with plenty of space to relax. The Seabury room is on the first floor, as are most of our rooms. It faces a grand front yard with flowering trees as well as a private deck just outside your door.

The Raven Suite
The " Suite Room" has a king size sleep number bed, full bath, separate fire placed living room and large deck with gas grill, 6 person hot tub, garden and fenced in yard. It has plenty of privacy and its own entrance. The living room and hot tub can also be sectioned off to be part of the Inns' common area.
